Skiing and Snowboarding at Big Sky

Big Sky is about an hour from Bozeman and one of the largest ski resorts in the country, with terrain for every level, from wide-open groomers to serious expert lines off Lone Peak. Bridger Bowl is the closer, more local option if you'd rather stay in town.

Either way, ski season runs roughly late November through early April, and both mountains have rental shops and lessons if you need gear or a refresher.
